Entries are now being taken for
Saturday afternoon competition
If you are currently playing Saturday Competition,
and unless we
hear otherwise, you will be placed in a team starting in February

LIGHTING UPGRADE

November 2008
The lights will hopefully be installed
over the xmas holidays
At present we have 30 year old light fittings with 1000
Watt bulbs
They will be replaced with 4 x 2000 Watt lights that will provide
infinitely greater lights
The last measurement taken late last year showed
that the light intensity of 50 lux
The new lights will provide a lighting intensity
of 350lx and 250lx on the surrounds
To clarify 50 lux is about as strong as
a 60 watt light bulb in your house
350 Lux is the same intensity as a brightly
light office.
The approx cost will be $10 000 which includes lights fittings,
labour etc
Of which half will be paid for by Wollongong Tennis Court Administration!
